Blueprint Night: Designing makers/pk With Its First Members

The working session that followed First Light, and the one the platform was actually shaped in.

Rather than present a finished product, we handed the open questions back to the members who had raised them in Karachi: what a Pakistani talent directory has to check before it can call anyone verified, how rates should be shown when some clients pay in rupees and others in dollars, and what separates a directory worth joining from another listings site.

Members walked through their own experience of being hired, being underpaid, and being ignored, and those notes went straight into the build. Several decisions still visible on the site today came out of this call, including the verification badge rules and showing rates in Pakistani Rupees by default.

Attendance was by private invitation to founding members.
