First Light: The makers/pk Karachi Launch

The first time the makers/pk community met in person, and the evening the platform was introduced properly.

Two online sessions had already done the groundwork, so this was not a pitch. It was an introduction: what makers/pk is for, how verification works, what a maker profile has to prove, and what the platform will and will not do on a maker's behalf. The floor was then opened, and the harder questions about trust, pricing, and payment protection were taken in the room rather than deferred.

The second half was deliberately unstructured. Designers, developers, and product people who had only seen each other in a video grid finally swapped work, contacts, and referrals face to face. Several of the collaborations now listed on member profiles started at those tables.

Held at Movenpick Hotel Karachi. Attendance was by private invitation to makers/pk members.
